Hi everyone! I've been out out of the loop for a little while whilst Satria & I were settling into our new life in Bali and I was dedicatedly creating a digital income for us so that we could stay! Unexpectedly our flights got cancelled back to Australia in March and I was determined to not go back to Australia which was in lockdown. Many of you who have visited Bali will understand why I wanted to stay here!

Anyway - we are here! With many other worldschooling families, including Tammie Brooks who is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to moving to Bali. Although the borders are not yet open to tourists, families are arriving on business, working, & 6 month social visas. It is possible to move here.

I'm writing this post to offer my support, as I know there are many families who are interested to move to Bali, who are looking for community & support, and who want to get out of where they are (I'm thinking the USA & Australia!).

Sending an abundance of love and looking forward to connecting with as many of you again as soon as possible 🙏

Becoming a Digital Nomad Family

Hello from Bali! 👋🏼☀️💖

One of the most frequently asked questions to Worldschoolers is ‘How do you fund your traveling lifestyle?’ The answer I’ve been most drawn to is being a digital nomad family. And this then leads to the bigger question of HOW to actually do that?

Worldschooling EcoAdventure Family Gathering
Krabi, Thailand
March 5 to 20 (15 nights), 2020

Pierre, Galie & myself are currently finalising the itinerary for our March Krabi Gathering. We will be posting it here and on our website in the next couple of days. The itinerary will be similar to the Nov/Dec gathering, minus the 5 day/5 night trip away as we won't have time to include that trip for the March gathering. We have also included some free time with no scheduled activities so families can have some downtime at Spirit Mountain, have a beach day, or book in some rock climbing.

Our Nov/Dec gathering was a huge success, and the families that joined us can't speak highly enough of their adventure and time in community. We have their testimonials coming soon.

We only have 6 bungalows available at Spirit Mountain, our gathering site, so please let us know ASAP if we should put a bungalow on hold for your family. Each bungalow (4 x fan bungalows, & 2 x AC bungalows) sleeps up to 4 people (or 5 if a young child is co-sleeping with their parents).

We're very much looking forward to welcoming more families to Spirit Mountain in March for our EcoAdventure focusing on nature, movement, mindfulness, fun, cultural immersion, and most importantly, connecting with other worldschooling families

I found Pierre Echaubard's talk on YouTube from the Project World School Family Summit last November, where we met and put our heads together to create our bi-anual worldschooling gathering. It's a lovely talk and highlights Pierre's passion for nature, movement and mindfulness in transformative education, and is the foundation for the first two weeks of our gathering:

Pierre's wife Galie Baril has co-created & will be co-facilitating the gathering with Pierre & myself, with a focus on the third week, our wellness week. Galie is a Reiki Master and Sound Therapist who has taught and lived through Reiki and the healing arts for the last 10 years. The wellness week includes:

- Sound & Energy Healing workshop
- Thai Chi/ Qi Gong
- Thai Massage workshop
- Whole Food Plant-Based Nutrition Workshop
- Nature Therapy
- Ecstatic Dance & Jam Party
