Bio: Dr Matthew Price (Osteopath)
Matthew grew up in the Nambucca Valley and always planned to return home to provide osteopathic medicine to his local community and those visiting our beautiful valley.
For over a decade Matthew has been working holistically with the human body and in that time has done further research into the effects that dysfunctional breathing patterns, posture and dietary choices have on overall health.
He completed his Masters in Osteopathic Medicine in 2019 and has since been deepening his knowledge and skills with nutrition, sleep hygiene, home hygiene and breathing mechanics.
Furthermore Matthew enjoys working with people of all ages and has a particular interest supporting new families with bio-mechanical issues that may be impacting their daily activities.
His treatment approach is gentle and effective utilising both direct and indirect techniques, breath education and re-training, also incorporating safe exercises and movement for at home management.
He has a special interest in how our living environments and diet can effect our health and is always on the look out for the possibility that his patients homes or diet may be making them unwell.
Matthew dedicates much of his time to continued professional development, always deepening his knowledge and skills, staying open and curious about how he can best support his patients.
