The NDIS is preparing to introduce a new way of planning from April 2027. 📅

One part of this change is the support needs assessment, which will help gather information about a participant’s disability-related support needs and inform future plan budgets.

There is no immediate change to current plans, and the new process will be introduced gradually. Axis Support Coordination will continue sharing clear updates as more information becomes available. 💡🤝

New NDIS laws passed Parliament on 19 August 2026, but that does not mean every participant’s plan changes straight away. 📄

For now, participants can continue using their current plans and supports as usual. Some changes will be introduced gradually, so it is important to separate what is changing now from what is still to come.

Axis Support Coordination can help participants understand NDIS updates and how they may relate to their individual situation. 💬✨
