Receiving Supported Independent Living supports? Important provider registration and claiming changes took effect on 1 July 2026.

SIL providers must now use support code 0138 – Assistance with Supported Independent Living for services delivered from this date. Existing unregistered SIL providers must also apply for registration by 1 October 2026 if they intend to continue providing SIL.

Your current NDIS plan and SIL funding do not automatically change. However, it is important to ask your provider whether they are registered or applying for registration. 🏠
