As spring arrives and the land begins to stir, we are invited back into movement, growth, and possibility. Held by rolling green hills and wide open skies, this retreat is an invitation to awaken the body, open the heart, and reconnect with the pulse of life moving through us.

This month we travelled to Sri Lanka: a land of culture, devotion, lush landscapes, and stunning beaches. Surrounded by jungle, mountains, wildlife, and temples.

From the moment we arrived, we were met with so much kindness. There is a joy and playful presence here in the way people connect with you.

Our retreat began on April 18th. We explored reconnecting with living a sustainable life with more clarity, energy and observation of our patterns and habits. We looked within for deeper understanding of our inner selves and the impact of our energy on each other and Mother Earth. We explored this through the Koshas, the 5 different layers of our being.

There was deep connection, unravelling and resetting with shared laughter, rich conversations, tears, healing moments, and so much joy and love.

Welikande Estate Retreat held us in a very natural and loving way. The land, the stillness, and the support of the team created an environment where we could settle into ourselves more deeply.

Together we experienced so much: daily yoga and meditation, insanely delicious meals, inner exploration, moments of stillness and reflection. We immersed ourselves in the local culture with a visit to local villages, tasted the freshest fruits, spice and teas in their local environment, explored through the breathtaking landscapes of Heeloya, visited Kandy and the sacred Temple of the Tooth, and shared an unforgettable traditional cooking class at a local home.

It was a journey of connection back to our true nature, to each other, and to this incredible land. Our hearts are so full. Full of gratitude, love, and memories that will stay with us for a lifetime.
