Which ripples into an uncomfortable time with symptoms in perimenopause/menopause which are blamed on menopause.

Pilates, Group Fitness, Strength/Resistance training people….

How do you position your hands when using a reformer, cable (bar, dumbbell) ?

Closed Hands (like fists) or Open Hands (loose fingers)?

I used to notice some BodyPump instructors do it.
Most Pilates classes will have you do it too.

I’m not sure the reason.

Having a closed fist is essential as it closes the chain, neurologically, switching on the stabilizers, muscles right up to the neck. A strong grip is important.

It’s like shaking someone’s hand. Feel any strength in a loose limp grip with fingers open? Try it and see the difference and see where all those connections fire when you close your hands firmly.

Open hands?

When ever you’re feeling low, flat, a bit off....

Have gratitude. There is always something to be thankful for.
Go outside. Feel the suns rays or the droplets of rain on your face.

Go immerse yourself in the beauty of nature - sometimes all you have to do is look up ❤️

Here’s one of the many things I am grateful for. Being able to view the beauty of the Noosa hinterland every day. Look at natures display! ❤️

Bliss!

I appreciate the beach so much more now that I live in the country.

I made the most of the stunning day today - ahead of another 7 days 🌧 rain forecast. Over the next 2 days I’ll be spending in the kitchen prepping and cooking for Christmas Day.

I take personal time out daily, and today my love of the sea & getting some essential Vit D ☀️ was 👌 divine. The water is a beautiful 25 degrees
