Queensland Seniors Month kicks off on October 1st, and this year marks its 66th. 🗓️

The theme is "Connect and celebrate", and the idea behind it is a good one. It's about getting out, seeing people, and recognising everything older Queenslanders contribute as volunteers, workers, carers and grandparents.

There's a whole month of it planned across the state. Morning teas, concerts, barbecues, workshops, all sorts. Worth having a look now at what's happening near you, as some events book out early. You'll find everything at www.qldseniorsmonth.org.au ❤️

As a Gold Coast business that's been looking after older Australians since 1997, it's our favourite time of year. We've always thought staying connected and getting out and about is a big part of living well at home, for longer.
