Supervision often starts with the quick questions.
What should I recommend?
How do I respond to funder feedback?
Am I missing something?
How do I explain my reasoning clearly?
And sometimes, quick direction is exactly what is needed.
But supervision can also do more than answer the question in front of us.
It can help clinicians slow down their thinking, notice what is influencing a decision, strengthen their reasoning, and build confidence for the next tricky clinical situation.
That is the focus of the next OT Sparks group supervision session:
Supervision That Develops Clinical Reasoning
Friday 19 June
10am – 11:30am AEST
Alike Health , The Junction NSW or online
This session is suitable for OTs who provide supervision, receive supervision, mentor students, or find themselves in those informal “can I run something past you?” conversations at work.
Practical, discussion-based, and grounded in everyday OT practice.
