It is so windy today. To me wind has always represented change is coming.

On this day 3yrs ago my life changed forever when I lost my love and every day since has been changed 💔😭.

Grief brings so much unwanted change. Praying this windy day signifies positive changes coming in.

Grief changes so many things. There are so many secondary losses which follow after losing your person.

If you are still playing an active role in my life and my journey I thank you with all my heart. I love you and want you to know you help make some of my most unbearable moments more bearable 🫂.

To those who have fallen away or only interact with me through liking my posts, I pray you never know the deep loneliness of this profound loss yourself.

I love this quote and totally agree.

It has not always been easy but I have always tried to love myself through the process of owning my story.

Now I have found a comfortable place in loving myself through sharing my story with others.

I believe this is the next step. Once we own our truth then we can share how we survived it with others with love, not shame.

Highly recommend this book!!!

Just read it in two days.

I cried many, many times as I read many people's traumatic experiences of grief and loss within this book.

I felt grateful I get to support people with their grief, as a counsellor.

It allowed my own grief to feel seen and tended to, like the author was wrapping my grief in deep understanding.

It alllowed me to feel connected to humanity, in our shared suffering, and to find a new level of compassion for my own grief.

Mostly I felt hopeful others in the world saw grief how I see grief. With fierce compassion and love.
