How do you stay motivated to keep active?

I’m lucky I live in a beautiful part of the world but it’s not always easy to keep motivated to train. Lately I’ve
been loving running and trying to increase my 5km run time. Having a goal and good running company along with some good old beats helps me when doing an interval session is on the arvo agenda.

43.10 is what my watch clocked me at for 10km today. First few k’s had a ball thinking this may be easier than the pre covid 10km runs. Boy I was wrong. 4km in I was already feeling dehydrated and thinking walking is a lot funner, mental game to the end where I was planning who would want to take my Noosa tri spot off me cause I didn’t want to run in this heat again. In the end I clocked a time I thought I was nowhere near and the turn out at was epic. So thankful to be around the active community again. Probably should do some more endurance work and stop obsessing over before I attempt this again.

I need a patch and paint job done for a hole in wall from a plumber. The cut is 111cm high and 49cm wide.

I Also need the ceiling underneath in Kitchen/Lounge room painted where there is the water stain. This is 3m wide by 5m long.

How to get body composition results
For the last 2 months I’ve gone back to my roots and started focusing my training to being in my home gym, doing sprints and interval runs, walking and some ocean swims. I finally got around to creating my own meal plan and have stuck to it.
Although I will race Tri’s again when we can, now is a perfect time to figure out what works for you. To get the best out of yourself use these tips;
1. Train the way that your body responds well to
2. Eat to your physiology with macros and slight calorie deficit
3. Stick to your plan for 3 months
4. Make sure you love how your training and eating so it’s super easy to stick to and you’re jumping out of bed to train in the morning
