🌊 BLUEBACK COMMUNITY CAMPOUT — THANK YOU! 🐋

A huge thank you to everyone who made the trek south to Mamang (Whale) Country for our annual BLUEBACK FREEDIVING AND YOGA Freedivers Community Campout. 💙

It was pretty special welcoming some new faces into the crew and sharing a weekend of wild ocean wilderness, new experiences, fireside meals, community yoga with our resident freediver-yogi Niraj Tattva Yoga , and plenty of relaxed good vibes.

Thank you to everyone who prepared food to share, pitched in with the beach clean-up, and rolled with the weather when plans inevitably needed a pivot! 🌿🔥🌊

A special thank you to Kimberley Gray for welcoming us so warmly on his beautiful country, and to Adreno Official Ocean Outfitters for sponsoring our prizes — and congratulations to our prize winners for their brilliant feats of balance, environmental restoration and kindness. 🏆

Hello Blueback Freedivers,

This is the final week to sign up for our annual Blueback Freediving & Yoga camp out on 28-30 August. For Blueback Freedivers' Community members it is - as always - free to join our 3-day camp, however everyone must register to book via Humanatix.

For newcomers, and those who have never dived with Blueback we ask for a registration form and small fee ($100) to respect and value the work these outdoor freedive events take to organize and promote, to support our team safety management and camp program planning in regional WA. Students and low-income earners may apply for a fee reduction via email. It’s always our aim to keep Blueback events community-inclusive and foster a sense of belonging, shared knowledge and values.

For those already registered a group WhatsApp has been set up to organize car pooling, camp site or cabin-sharing and getting to know our camp freedive crew!

Every year our Blueback Freediving & Yoga community heads south for one of the highlights of the season – a relaxed weekend of freediving, camping, nature connection and good company in the spectacular waters of a regional WA town - this year it’s Bremer Bay!

Whether you're a long-time Blueback member or new to our community, you're warmly welcome to join us.

The camp is about more than diving. It's about slowing down, sharing meals, exploring together, learning from one another, and spending time with people who care deeply about ocean safety, wellbeing and our wild coastal places.
