Star and Lilli spent the day exploring the Wellington Caves 📸
They went underground through the limestone caves, checked out the different formations and learnt about stalactites, stalagmites, fossils and some of the history of the area.
It’s always good to get out somewhere different and learn about things you wouldn’t normally come across in everyday life.
A great day out for Star and Lilli with a bit of exploring, a bit of learning and something new ticked off the list.
Now that the weather is warming up, and with the majority of our vehicles being 4WDs, we’ll be heading off on plenty more cool, unique little adventures.
We’ve already got a few exciting trips in mind, but if you know somewhere cool that we should explore, drop it in the comments or tag it so we can check it out!
Support doesn’t always have to mean sitting indoors, doing craft groups or having everything done for you.
The more we get outside, learn about nature and understand how the world around us works, the more connected we become.
The more of our country we get to see, the more fresh air we breathe and the more places we explore, the more we learn about ourselves too.
Nature has a funny way of reminding us who we are and what we’re capable of.
When we’re out there, we aren’t worrying about social media or sitting on our phones.
Half the time the only reason the phone comes out is to take a photo.
We’re talking, learning, building friendships, making new memories and building skills and confidence without it feeling like some structured activity.
And sometimes that confidence is exactly what someone needs to prove to themselves that all those people who ever told them they couldn’t — or didn’t even bother giving them the chance because they assumed they wouldn’t understand — were wrong.
And really, those people are just di*****ds with shallow minds who were never worthy of deciding what you are or aren’t capable of anyway.
It’s about building the confidence and skills to be able to turn around and say:
I DID IT ON MY OWN.
And that means something. It means everything 🫶🏽
