Pregnancy Chiropractic - if it’s one thing we’re good at treating it’s rib pain 🩻 Vitalia Health - Holistic Chiropractic on the Sunshine Coast

During Pregnancy as your organs get pushed up and out into your rib cage often patients present with Rib pain, upper back stiffness, tightness in the chest and even heart burn.

The adjustment I am doing here, on the lovely Ashleigh, is called a Winglift. There is a rolled towel between us creating a lever at the vertebra or rib head that I want to put movement back into. Using breath and a guided force - with mostly the patients help, I am able to help create more movement and open up the rib cage with this adjustment.

Often combined with a diaphragm release and upper back/neck massage.

What’s your favourite thing about Chiro?

Personally, I see my own Chiro at least fortnightly as it helps me regulate and ground my nervous system so I can best serve the community! But also the part where it helps me feel strong 💪🏽
