Physios: If you’ve ever looked at a scoliosis X-ray and felt unsure what to do next, you’re not alone.

Many physios see scoliosis patients in clinic but lack the confidence, training or support to manage them effectively.

Our PSSE-Schroth course is designed to help bridge that gap, giving you the knowledge and practical skills to better assess and treat scoliosis patients with confidence.

How fab is Mia’s new brace!? ✨

Fitted tonight for both scoliosis and kyphosis, Mia chose this vibrant Starburst print to make her brace uniquely hers.

Bracing can be a big step for young people, so being able to personalise their brace is one small way we help them feel more comfortable and confident throughout treatment.

Wishing Mia all the best as she begins this next chapter of her scoliosis journey 💙

When it comes to scoliosis bracing, precision matters.

At Perth Scoliosis Clinic, we use WCR braces as part of a collaborative process involving experienced clinicians and orthotists at every stage, from assessment and design through to fitting and ongoing adjustments.

The goal is always to provide a brace that is customised to the individual and supported by evidence based principles to help achieve the best possible outcome for each patient 💙

An unforgettable evening in Italy celebrating connection, collaboration and a shared passion for scoliosis care 💙

One of the most rewarding parts of working in this space is meeting practitioners from around the world who are equally committed to improving outcomes for patients navigating scoliosis.

Grateful for the conversations, knowledge-sharing, mentorship and friendships that continue to shape this profession. And of course… seeing scoliosis professionals let loose at a gala dinner was pretty special too 🇮🇹✨

It’s Spinal Health Week 💙

As physiotherapists, this week is an important reminder of the role education, early intervention and movement can play in supporting spinal health across all stages of life.

The spine is central to how we move, function and participate in everyday activities, yet many people don’t seek support until pain or limitations begin impacting daily life.

Spinal Health Week is about raising awareness, encouraging proactive care and helping people better understand their bodies through evidence based guidance and treatment.

For those of us working in this space, it’s also an opportunity to continue advocating for patient education, multidisciplinary care and ongoing research to help improve outcomes for people living with spinal conditions

One of the things I’m most passionate about is helping practitioners develop a deeper understanding of scoliosis and the complexity behind each individual presentation.

That’s why I now teach scoliosis-specific education courses I truly believe in, like the internationally recognised PSSE Schroth Method. Through these courses, more clinicians can feel confident, informed and better equipped to support their patients using evidence-based principles.

The more we continue learning and sharing knowledge, the better support we can provide for people navigating scoliosis 💙
