What a fantastic weekend for the mighty Southern Lions All Abilities team, taking on the experienced Scrum Barbarians in two great matches. 🏉

On Saturday, the team played an exhibition half before the Kalamunda vs Bayswater Prems clash, and backed it up again on Sunday at Lark Hill for the Scrum Golden Oldies Carnival.🏉

A big congratulations to Jay Wiley, named Player of the Day after an outstanding first game—what a debut!🥇

Thank you to all our loyal supporters who came out to cheer the team on. Your support means everything.👍

Special thanks to Flash and Allana for setting up the gazebo and having the jerseys ready to go before arrival—top effort and greatly appreciated. 🙏

Next up: Pally Pigs on Sunday, May 17th at Palmyra Rugby Club. Looking forward to another big hit-out! 🏉

This Sunday is the Rocking Chairs Carnival please find following the Draw for Sunday 3 May 2026.

Please be at the ground by mid-day to help set up.

Also remember a prize for the Raffle table noting this is our fundraiser for the season.

What a fantastic day out at Lark Hill Sports Complex for the first SCRUM Rugby Carnival of 2026, proudly hosted by the Mandurah Raw Prawns! 🏉

It marked the first hit-out of the year for the mighty Southern Lions All Abilities, taking on a strong and energetic Barbarians side. The game was played in great spirit, showcasing everything we love about rugby.

A special shoutout to Geoff Holt – well deserved Player of the Day!

Already looking forward to the next carnival, hosted by the Rocking Chairs on Sunday, May 3rd. Back at Lark Hill .

Sessions are as follows

Both sessions are $15 cash or eftpos available receipt given support workers free

Session 1
Every Tuesday Maddington Centrepoint church (1895 Albany hwy Maddington , next to McDonalds .Park at the rear of building , loads of parking 11.15-12.15 pm Please arrive 15 mins early to ensure time for payment etc
No booking is required just turn up and have fun !
All sessions run through school holidays , with a short break between Christmas and new year

Session 2
Every Wednesday at Medina hall ( 15 minutes from Cockburn ) 9 Pace road Medina
12-1 pm .Arrive no earlier than 11.30 am

Ample parking at both sessions , air con and heating and accessible toilet /facilities
