I'm home from ALPMA Summit 2026 and still buzzing! 🌟

What a privilege; what a bunch of brilliant, interesting people, and what an opportunity to be part of something that feels so important to the future of Australian law.

Delivering my workshop “Great Legal Minds Don’t Think Alike: Neurodivergence as a Strength in Law” is something I couldn't have imagined doing just a few years ago, deep in my OT career.

Then came the best bit: The conversations, the questions, the workshops, the laughter, the ideas, the people who shared their own lived experiences, the neurodivergent professionals who said, “You've just described my life”, and the neurotypical professionals who said, “I hadn't understood that before.”

That's what I love about this work.

Connection. Creating spaces where difference is understood, respected and valued. I'm having an absolute ball doing it. ❤️

ROOM TO GROW: Recently, Sydney-based psychologist Amanda Mullin shared her thoughts on workplace neurodiversity training.

She explained that most neurodiversity training is too focused on ‘awareness’ and that more needs to be done to provide day-to-day support.

BACK TO SCHOOL: With Term 4 just around the corner, returning to the classroom can bring plenty of excitement, but for some neurodivergent children, a change in routine can also feel a little overwhelming.

A few small steps can help make the transition easier: start reintroducing familiar routines, talk through what the first day back might look like, prepare bags and uniforms ahead of time and leave a little extra breathing room in the morning.
