To quote Robin Sharma “Hard is good. Real greatness… is meant to be a difficult sport.”
This morning it was just me, a coffee… and a book that’s been sitting on my shelf for way too long.
I wasn’t looking for anything profound.
Just something other than work to do in the one hour I had to kill before a meeting.
But you know those moments where something just lands?
If I’m being honest, Salty has been challenging the f**k out of me lately.
The pressure. The noise. The constant questioning.
Five years in and somehow it doesn’t feel easier, just heavier in different ways.
More responsibility. More decisions. More expectations. More figuring it out as you go.
And then I’m sitting there, deeply engrossed, nodding knowingly, reading a book that makes it all make sense.
It talks about how this part…
the messy, uncertain, uncomfortable part…
is where it actually happens.
Not the highlight reel.
Not the “we made it” moment.
This.
The part where you’re tired but still showing up.
The part where you question everything but keep going anyway.
And it hit me.
Salty’s 5th season isn’t some polished, perfect story.
It’s the evolution of this very thing.
The hard conversations.
The doubt.
The pivots.
The quiet moments where you decide to keep going anyway.
So if you’re in it right now… babe I see you.
You’re not behind.
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just in the part that actually counts.
Big love ❤️
