The lovely people that HCAS support often ask what did you do on the weekend? This weekend I've hung out at home in the lovely sunshine with my dog, did some gardening & also treated myself, my daughter & a family friend for a magical 1.5 hr trail ride with the wonderful Hastings River Horse Riding. 🐕🐎🌞🍀🍂

🌻 Some ways we have supported participants with person centred support to nourish their well being before & after the recent floods has included sailability, craft & scrapbooking, art projects, creative cooking 🥙, trips to the markets, a show at the glasshouse, adventures exploring by the river, day trips to Kendall. Also had a great group get together with some participants we support for a fun fire pit party that they enjoyed with family & support workers.

We are sad to say goodbye to beautiful Emma who finished working with HCAS today. She has brought a lot of joy to 3 of the participants that we support over the last few yrs. We all thank her for all her amazing support work & wish her fun & safe travels. 🤩

Our participants favourite times with Emma were sailability, cooking yummy dinners on sleep over shifts, dressing up & dancing at 80's & Halloween themed disco's, trivia, grocery shopping, art & craft projects & various in home support tasks while listening to favourite songs.

It was an honour to support a fabulous lady with a trip to Sydney to fulfil a very special goal of seeing Andrea Bocelli.
* Wow what a voice!
Of course we had to stop at Heatherbrae pies & Cherry pie cafe too. 🤩

HCAS provide 'Support Coordination Services' to these two amazing NDIS participants. They both had a great 2024 with many achievements.
*They married each other & had a beautiful wedding 🤵👰.
*They both represented at special Olympics 10 Pin Bowling 🎳. *Simon was awarded the biggest trophy 🏆 imaginable.
*Renee made many diamond art masterpieces🖼.

I'm Belinda, from HCAS. Yesterday I was dressed up as a 'friendly witch' & had Halloween fun with some amazing people. 🧙‍♀️
The day started (in costume) with an Disability Employment coaching session📋 (& the participant achieved great results in an online learning course 🌠).
Some Administration back at the office.📎☎️💡
**Then 4pm 'trick or treating' 🐈‍⬛with a participant (who enjoyed creating a wonderful ventriloquists puppet costume with my support). She also had great fun practicing social skills in the community (& getting treats).
*Then Halloween Trivia with another NDIS participant who looked great as a witch & enjoyed Halloween car Karaoke & music questions & scattegories at trivia.🐈‍⬛. A wonderful time was had by all. :)
