Stallholder Spotlight: Celestial Body Wellness Centre
There are so many different ways people look after themselves, and I think sometimes the first step is simply knowing what is actually out there.
That is what I like about having Anu from Celestial Spinal Flow at the fair. Based in Ripley Valley, Anu works across a whole range of holistic and spiritual wellness practices, including Spinal Flow Technique, Reiki, aromatherapy, AromaTouch, meditation, ear candling, Gua Sha and sound bowl work.
She is not coming along expecting everyone to already know what any of that means. She will be there to talk. Ask her what Spinal Flow actually is. Ask about Reiki. Ask what happens during an aromatherapy treatment, what Gua Sha involves, why people use singing bowls, or even what on earth ear candling is.
That is really the opportunity here.
You can have a conversation, understand the different therapies she works with and decide whether any of them are something you would like to explore further.
Her main focus is Spinal Flow Technique, a gentle bodywork approach that practitioners use with the intention of supporting relaxation and helping people become more aware of tension held through the body.
She also combines her broader interest in aromatherapy, Reiki and other wellbeing practices into her work.
Full treatments will not be happening at the fair. This is much more about meeting Anu, asking questions and discovering a part of the wellness world you may never have encountered before.
And I think that belongs at a Lifestyle Fair. We talk endlessly about what our gardens need. Sometimes it is worth getting curious about ourselves too.
