⏰ Excellent time management (because somehow there are ALWAYS 17 things happening at once & continuous confusion on where your pen went)⁠

Before you ask... 😉 No, it's not spam or a scam.⁠

Here's what to expect:⁠
✔️ The SMS will come from our trusted booking platform 'AutoMed' dedicated secure number.⁠
✔️ Enter your date of birth (using ddmmyyyy) to verify your identity.⁠
✔️ Review the details of your appointment.⁠
✔️ Select ACCEPT to assign your Medicare benefit & complete your Medicare claim.⁠
⁠
If you choose to DECLINE bulk-billing, you'll be provided with information about what to do next, including being charged instead. You'll have the option to go back & accept if you change your mind.⁠

Once you've made your selection, you can even download a PDF copy for your records.⁠

In Manta Miilmiilpa (Sacred Earth), Mr Fielding explores the profound relationship between land, memory & Tjukurpa, the life force and spiritual framework that connects all things. Drawing on photographic processes while challenging colonial ways of seeing, he invites the landscape itself to become the storyteller.⁠

Reflecting on the work, Mr Fielding shares:⁠

"From the earth we come, to the earth we return. My culture allows me to connect deeply with the sacredness of the earth, and see the presence of our ancestors in every aspect of life. The landscape becomes the storyteller, the ancestors that are still part of the landscape start speaking, and Tjukurpa becomes momentarily tangible."⁠

In this striking image from his Mutaka Katalypa (Car Graveyard) series, Mr Fielding transforms abandoned vehicles into vibrant monuments of memory & community.⁠

Reflecting on the work, Fielding explains:⁠

"The 77 kilometre road between my home in Mimili community and the neighbouring community of Indulkana is scattered with car wrecks (mutaka katalypa). I call them 'graveyards in between'. Every car holds the stories of its owners and the passengers it once carried. Through the process of selecting certain cars, painting and illuminating them, I'm bringing back to life something long thought dead."⁠

Through colour, light & imagination, Mr Fielding invites us to consider the stories embedded in the landscape & the enduring connections between people, place & history.⁠

Believe it or not, it's incredibly common for practices to have multiple patients with the exact same name (we promise we're not making that up! 😅). Add in that people move house, change phone numbers, or even share the same date of birth & suddenly those quick questions become pretty important.⁠

Originally from New Zealand, Dr Sonia has been caring for patients for over 20 years & is known for her warm, approachable style & taking the time to really listen.⁠
