Pelvic girdle pain in pregnancy is common — but that doesn’t mean it’s something you have to just push through.
If you’re feeling pain through the front of your pelvis, hips, or lower back — especially with walking, rolling in bed, or getting dressed — your body may be asking for more support.
PGP often comes down to how your body is sharing load, not just “looseness” or weakness.
Try your best to move evenly through both legs, avoid single leg or split stance movements. Try to get your glutes activating and try some pelvic or abdominal support like a belt or belly band.
A Women's Health Physio can guide you through the best way to manage your pain.
