THE FEELING BETTER PROJECT is about everyday people from all walks of life who have dealt with depression and/or anxiety at some stage in their lives and how they got through it. Depression and/or anxiety can be a result of trauma, illness or major event in your life or can occur for many other various reasons. This project, created by Paula J Armstrong is about collecting data, collating and orga

nising it into a useful format to help those that are struggling currently and inspire and support them through their journey into wellness. Self-help books can be a wonderful source of information, but often when we are in the depths of depression and despair, we can have a difficult time in relating to the write. We can feel like "that won’t work for me" or “I could never do that” which can make us feel more hopeless. How much better would it be to read a book about what people from all walks of life did to help themselves manage their day-to-day struggles with depression and anxiety? Discovering what worked or didn't work, their personality type, interests, family life and background in a simplified form, would increase our chances of finding someone to relate to. The idea is to keep it simple, easy to read, easy to relate to with lots of examples. If you are someone who has successfully recovered from depression and/or anxiety and would like to contribute your story, please email me at [email protected]. You will be sent a form to fill out with prompts and specific questions to help write your story. You don't have to be a writer whatsoever. I want people from all walks of life. Tell me your story so that it can help others.
