Our hiked section of the Spit to Manly walk this morn was a beauty. New poles, new faces and upbeat friendly chats. The runners and others shared the trail with us, great to see so many out enjoying the fresh sunshine in this popular area of Sydney ☀️🙌

The Sistas are being led by Blue Mountains Adventure Company October 24 through the River Caves Canyon. Would you like to join us? It's beginner friendly, 3 spots left, a small group of us are going. A spectacular canyon in the upper reaches of Budgary Creek in Wollemi NP, River Caves Canyon is one of the shorter and easiest non-technical canyons in the Greater Blue Mountains.

Sunday morn spent with the Sistas in the warm sunshine cheering on passing trail runners, hiking in burnt bush areas & finishing on a long fire trail. Out in nature, experiencing whatever pops up together 🙌💚☀️

Kirsten rarely wears a hat, but somewhere along the trail we usually manage to pop one on her head 😉 She’s been part of Seek Sista since the early days, and she’s one of the warmest, chattiest and most interesting people you could hope to walk beside. Smart, curious and always up for a good conversation, Kirsten makes everyone feel welcome from the very first step. She’s brought a few friends along, and her posts on social media have led to plenty more of them joining us. She occasionally turns up with baked goodies and her special peppermint tea, which are always a highlight at cuppa time. Thanks, Kirsten, for the occasional muffin, the brilliant chats and the friendship 💚xx

We changed our hike day from Saturday to Sunday due to the stormy forecast yesterday and we are glad we did! A cracker of a morn was spent from Angophora Reserve through the hub of Avalon to Bangalley Headland. Finishing up with an op shop of course! Speaking of ‘off course’ 😉 the Bogong moths were in full force after a combination of northerly winds and a warmer climate pushed the moths off course, causing them to swarm properties across Sydney and other coastal areas like Avalon during their annual migration.

There’s always random sights to see out there on the trails. Join us next time! 🥾❤️

Wow what a windy, walking, talking, eating, paddling and connecting kind of September it was! We did so much together as our growing community keeps getting outside & enjoying a change of scene. Keep following and make sure you join us there when you can! 🙌☀️🌿

It’s not every day you high-five students along a trail in Hornsby or pass hundreds of them. But here we were and then we had the place to ourselves, mostly! We climbed Heritage Steps, looked over the quarry, had a cuppa in a picnic ground & wrapped up another 2hours of midweek reset & connection time 🌸😉
