GLP 1 medications can help with weight loss but they can also contribute to muscle loss if muscle is not being supported during the process.

That matters because the pelvic floor is made of muscle too.

Some women notice increased leaking urgency or weakness during weight loss especially if they are also in perimenopause or menopause where natural muscle loss is already occurring.
