People often say, “Choose wisely who you love.” But the harder truth is this: people don’t always stay the same. The person you fell for, married, or built a life with can slowly become someone you barely recognize.

That’s why so many relationships and marriages break down—not always because someone chose wrong, but because time has a way of revealing sides we never saw in the beginning.

I’ve had moments where I lost people I never imagined I would, felt deeply misunderstood, and experienced situations that left me questioning everything I thought was solid.

But life has also surprised me in the most beautiful ways. I’ve been loved more deeply than I ever expected, discovered friendships that feel genuine and lasting, and grown through pain I once believed I wouldn’t survive.

“When we understand that each day isn’t one more day, but one less, we start giving more value to what truly matters.”

There is no rocket science in this thought. Deep down, we all know life is finite and that with every passing day, we have a little less time left.

But most of us live on autopilot — caught in routines, stress, and the mechanical pace of life — so even obvious truths rarely cross our minds until something painful or unexpected suddenly wakes us up.

And then we realize:
