Everyone’s talking about what AI will replace.

But there’s one thing it never will…

Community.

It can’t replace the feeling of being greeted by name at 6am on a Saturday morning.

It can’t recreate the friendships built through shared kilometres, post-run coffees, and conversations that remind you you’re not doing life alone.

It can’t give someone the confidence to walk into a group for the first time and leave feeling like they’ve found their people.

As someone who spends every day helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident, I’ve realised that the real transformation often has very little to do with training plans.

It’s about connection.

Having people in your corner.
Being surrounded by others who inspire you to become 1% better.
Finding a place where you belong.

What started as an idea has become something far bigger than I ever imagined.

A community of incredible humans who choose to show up for themselves and each other, week after week.

And in a world that’s becoming increasingly digital, I think that’s something worth protecting.

Thank you to every single person who’s been part of this journey so far. Whether you’ve come once or haven’t missed a Saturday, you’ve helped shape what has become.

If this is what the first 12 months looked like, I can’t wait to see what the next 12 bring.

Here’s to becoming 1% better together. 🤝🏽🌅

Men’s Mental Health Month 🤝🏽

A reminder that checking in on the men in your life matters.

The ones who always seem “fine.”
The ones who carry the weight of everyone else’s problems.
The ones who joke their way through hard times.
The ones who never ask for help.

Strength isn’t pretending everything is okay.

Strength is having the courage to speak up when it’s not.

To the men reading this:
You don’t have to earn rest.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
You don’t have to have all the answers.

And to everyone else:
Send the message.
Make the phone call.
Ask the question.
Be the person who checks in.

Because sometimes a simple “How are you really doing?” can mean more than you’ll ever know.

Look after your mates.
Look after yourself.

We’re all in this together. 🤝🏽

At the end of your life, the difference won’t be how much money you made, how many followers you had, or whether you played it safe.

It’ll come down to one question:

Did you truly live?

Did you take the trip?
Start the business?
Tell people you loved them?
Sign up for the race?
Take the risk?
Create the memories?

Or did you spend your life waiting for the “perfect time” that never came?

One day, we’ll all experience our last days on earth.

When that time comes, will you be at peace because you chose to LIVE?

Or will you sit with regret, thinking about all the things you never did?

You get to choose.

You’re in charge.

🚨 Endurance athletes, stop being scared of carbs.

One of the biggest mistakes I see runners, HYROX athletes and endurance athletes make is trying to fuel high-performance training on a fat loss diet.

Then they wonder why they’re:
❌ Constantly tired
❌ Struggling to recover
❌ Hitting a plateau in training
❌ Feeling flat during sessions

Carbohydrates are your body’s preferred fuel source for high-intensity exercise.

They’re stored as glycogen in your muscles and liver and are what power:

🚴 Bike rides

⚡ Interval sessions
🏊 Swim training

The harder and longer you train, the more carbohydrates you need.

Protein builds and repairs muscle.

Life moves pretty fast.

So fast that most people spend their entire lives waiting for the next thing.

The next weekend.
The next holiday.
The next promotion.
The next race.
The next milestone.
The next version of themselves.

And before they know it, years have passed.

Social media makes this even harder.

Every day we’re shown someone making more money, travelling somewhere better, running faster, buying something bigger, achieving something we haven’t yet achieved.

It’s easy to feel behind.

It’s easy to feel like you’re not doing enough.

But what if you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be?

What if this season of your life isn’t something to rush through, but something to experience?

The morning coffee.
The conversation with a friend.
The training session.
The walk with your dog.
The quiet moments nobody posts online.

Those are the moments that make up a life.

Not the highlight reel.

Run your own race.

Build your own life.

Do things on your own terms.

Because at the end of the day, nobody else has to live with the choices you make.

And when your time comes, you won’t be asking whether you kept up with everyone else.

You’ll be asking whether you were present enough to enjoy the life that was right in front of you.

Be ambitious.

Chase big goals.

But don’t get so focused on where you’re going that you forget to appreciate where you are. 🤝🏽
