Imagine being passed through a number of animal rescue agencies and foster homes before finally arriving at your forever home.

Imagine finally being adopted and then returned to the rescue agency the next day because your new human struggled to deal with your behaviour.

These are real life experiences of animals I have had conversations with. It can be difficult for animals adapting to new homes not knowing if that is going to be a temporary home or a permanent one. It can be challenging for the human parents not knowing why their animal was a rescue animal, or how to help them.

As you may know, we lost our beloved Nara very suddenly and tragically in late February. Our hearts are still healing and every day is part of the grieving process.

Our Cookie has been fretting something terrible for a companion.

Whilst I don't want to rush this process, I feel that there is a void, something missing, not to be replaced, but different.

A special kitty has crossed our paths that we are exploring a connection with. There are so many kitties waiting for loving homes. We considered a kitten, senior kitties but basically a beautiful kitty soul that can fit with our family and who we can love unconditionally.

I love human design and yes it can be applied to cats and dogs. I have been creating charts for other cat parents and decided to see whether this special kitty would potentially be a fit for us.

I am amazed by the results!

This special girl is quite unusual in her human design profile. She is a Projector. Almost all cats are Reflectors. Her profile matches mine as a Generator and Cookie's as a Reflector. A beautiful synergy.

Creating her profile helps me to understand what makes her tick, her purpose here and how I can adapt our environment to help her thrive not just survive. This is truly a blessing when considering adopting or rehoming a kitty.

I have been working on something very special and very close to my heart. A flower essence blend to support cat parents through the grieving process after the loss of their beloved kitty.

I have used my own recent personal experience with losing my Nara to create this blend with the intention of providing support, holding space and uplifting the soul in the saddest, deepest times and in the moments of most despair after loss.

Last year I created a blend to help cats transition towards end of life called Rainbow Release. This year, I realised that as a cat parent experiencing deep grief, I reached for my flower essences to provide emotional support and comfort.

I now want to share this with other cat parents that travel the journey of grief also.
