A recent study found that people who drank:
• 2–3 cups of caffeinated coffee daily
or
• 1–2 cups of caffeinated tea daily

had a 15–20% lower risk of dementia over 40 years compared to those who didn’t.

Researchers also found coffee drinkers showed slightly less cognitive decline and performed better on some brain function tests than decaf drinkers.
