Getting a Bordoodle puppy to train as an Assistance dog for my family was not on my 2026 bingo card… and yet here we are 😂

The health and well-being of myself and my family have been my main priority for almost 12 months now.

Maybe it was moving into the nature sanctuary, or having a hysterectomy, or it was just the next step in the grand Universal plan…

As I’ve deepened my learning in trauma, neurodivergence, and the body over the past 12 months, it became apparent that the next chapter in our healing and nervous system regulation was to welcome a dog into our family 🧡

If there’s one thing I know about creating safer spaces for healing and growth it’s that nervous system regulation is key.

Hi, hey! I didn’t plan on going offline for a while… but I was really enjoying just being present in my life and lost track of time.

“The day authenticity became content”

I sat down with media to share my thoughts on authenticity, vulnerability and the cost of over sharing as a content strategy.

‘The hidden cost of this performative authenticity is burnout. The cost isn’t just oversharing, it’s exhaustion. The notifications don’t stop. The validation is addictive. The burnout is inevitable. According to the Women’s Agenda 2025 Ambitions report, 72% of women reported burnout in the past 12 months. “The health impacts, plus business and workplace sustainability impacts are no surprise then when you start to look at the numbers of women experiencing burnout,” Emma said. “Our nervous systems were never designed to be on in this way all the time.”

I can’t possibly condense 12 months into a single post! It’s felt like we’ve lived lifetimes already on our nature sanctuary. From river flood watches to bonfires with friends, the wildlife getting comfy with our presence to being hands on in tending to the rainforest. I’ve never felt more home in my life 🔥

Here’s to the women who just want to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

A hot cuppa.

Going to the toilet uninterrupted.

Kids that fall asleep at a decent hour so you can watch the new episodes of Bridgerton.

Snort laughing with your teens over silly jokes.

Playing Roblox and Minecraft with your kid because they love gaming.

Car karaoke.

And bringing their dreams to life without burning out.
