Running! In particular sprinting! Why it’s so beneficial and powerful for you, your fitness and health and results in the gym and majority of sports and muscular/power aesthetic goals.
Sprinting has been a fundamental god given ability since the dawn of time when we first learnt to run on two legs!
It cross transfers into multiple different sports and energy system conditioning and requirements of fitness that can be beneficial to a lot of different areas of your body including:
•development of cross uni and bi lateral co-ordinates movement patterns,
•improved reaction time and agility
•development of power and speed into all limbs and core stability and control while in fast velocity movement.
•Increased natural bio available free testosterone
•increased natural ghrh and growth hormone
•increased muslce contractility and rigidity of Achilles tendons.
• increased work intensity output and recovery.
If you want to utilise a form of cardio that reaps all these benefits instead of just jumping on a treadmill for a jog I highly recommend sprinting or boxing and if you want to learn either of these from me I am ready and able to coach you in either!
I am currently running every Saturday morning 7:00 am at the grass area before Alex surf club skate park sprinting bootcamp workshops on how to optimise your running technique and improve your sprinting speed and performance!
