Small promises to yourself matter more than you think…
You build self-respect every time you keep a promise to yourself.

Finishing one small task that is meaningful to you.
Going for a walk.
Doing the meditation instead of putting yourself last again.
Taking care of your health.

And sometimes valuing yourself also means resting before you get to the point of complete exhaustion.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop abandoning yourself for other people…valuing yourself means protect...

valuing yourself means protecting your energy from people who constantly drain you.
And it also means stopping those times where you diminish yourself just to make other people comfortable.

Your needs matter.
Your feelings matter and your wellbeing matters too.

Continuing my posts on self worth….
You can build your Self-worth by making small decisions that value you without needing to “earn” it first. You can do this by:

Buying yourself flowers, a special tea you like or a new book.
Taking yourself to the beach.
Wear clothes that make you feel good now instead of saving them for “one day when I lose weight,” “or “for special occasions.”

Choose to show yourself kindness.

Many of my clients struggle with Self Worth, i thought i might post a few tips on how to start changing this over the next week or so. Heres the first one:
One of the quickest ways to start valuing yourself more is to stop saying sorry for things that don’t require an apology.

You don’t need to apologize for needing time, setting boundaries or protecting your peace.

And while you’re at it… stop speaking to yourself more harshly than you would speak to someone you care about.

The way you speak to yourself matters. Be kind and give yourself grace.
