📢 Registrations are now open for the Australasian Neuroscience Nurses Association (ANNA) Movement Disorders Chapter Parkinson’s Disease Online Education Day on Friday 19 June 2026.

This education day has been specifically designed for nurses working across acute care, community settings, rehabilitation, and residential aged care who want to build their knowledge and confidence in caring for people living with Parkinson’s disease and atypical parkinsonism.

The program will provide practical, evidence-based education covering:
✅ Introduction to Parkinson’s disease
âś… Medication management
âś… Atypical parkinsonism
âś… Lived experience perspectives
âś… Device-assisted therapies including:
• Vyalev
• Apomorphine
• Levodopa-Carbidopa Intestinal Gel (Duodopa)
• Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)

The day features expert presenters from across Australia and New Zealand who are leaders in Parkinson’s and movement disorders nursing.

What an incredible day at the Australasian Neuroscience Nurses Association Movement Disorder Chapter (MDC) Advanced Practice Day.

So many insightful presentations, excellent speakers, and valuable opportunities for learning, collaboration, and networking with colleagues passionate about movement disorders care.
