Dr Gemma Carey breaks down what's actually happening with each one, and why the right diagnosis shapes the right support.

Dr Carey is a GP with a special interest in mental health. She is also an Endorsed Prescriber, able to diagnose and treat ADHD, and a Continuation Prescriber who can take over your care from your psychiatrist.

This is where Ponti works differently. Your GP, psychiatrist and psychologist sit under one roof and review your care together, so your hormones and your mental health are read as one story, not three separate referrals.

She's not the only one. Five of our GPs can start the Mental Health inc ADHD conversation with you, and we will soon have three Endorsed Prescribers at Ponti Health.

We're excited to share that our IUD Clinic is now open in Surry Hills 💛

✨ What is an IUD?

A small device is placed inside the uterus.

✨ What's it used for?

Contraception, or to reduce heavy menstrual bleeding.

✨ What are the options?

Two types are available in Australia: hormonal and non-hormonal (copper).

Great news, all our GPs can talk you through your options, and two of our GPs perform the procedure on site, and if needed, we'll refer you internally to one of them.

As with all our other rooms, we welcome patients who see a GP elsewhere.
