PSA: Your HRT prescription might be covering half of what it could. 🧐

If you’re on Sandrena, Estrogel, or Estrogel Pro, these can potentially be written as a 60-day script instead of the standard 30-day one. Same medication, double the supply, one prescription. On the PBS.

It’s not automatic. Your GP has to specifically write it that way, and if you’ve never had one before, you’ll likely need an appointment to set it up.

Once it’s in place: fewer pharmacy runs, fewer scripts to remember, one less thing to manage.

Don’t assume yours is already set up this way. Next time you’re at the GP, ask directly:

“Can this be written as a 60-day script?”

We asked via a poll in our stories over the weekend: what’s been the hardest part of managing your symptoms? 🤔

Your answer was clear. It’s not finding information, and for most of you, it’s not even accessing treatment. It’s getting a GP who takes you seriously.

😐 Having to self-advocate.
😐 Having to explain everything to the person who’s supposed to be diagnosing you.
😐 Being dismissed because your cycle “looks normal on paper.”

This is the gap in support so many of you are navigating, and we don’t believe it should be this hard.

❤️ Heart disease isn’t just a “getting older” problem, for women, it’s a hormone problem too.

Most don’t know heart disease is their #1 killer and even fewer know the warning signs can look completely different in a woman’s body, which is why so many cardiac events in women go undetected until it’s too late.

We encourage everyone to talk to their GP about their individual heart health risk and to know the symptoms they should be aware of.

We’ve officially signed with MedPharm, this is a huge step forward for LORAI Health, and for the future of MHT patch access.

Together, we’re advancing our Gen-1 estradiol patch through formulation optimisation and product characterisation, in preparation for scale-up and large-scale, pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing. Getting here isn’t small, we’ve learned that most ideas don’t survive the jump from concept to product. Well, ours just did. 🎉

We started LORAI because we so passionately believe that no one should have to fight for MHT patches. This milestone brings us one step closer to changing that.
