🍵 4g RYŌKA Matcha
💧 40ml water (75°C)
🥛 120ml milk
🧊 Pour over ice and enjoy.

I’ve had quite a few people ask how I make a matcha latte at home. So here’s the full process from start to finish using the steam wand on an espresso machine.

Recipe:
🍵 3.5g ceremonial matcha
💧 30ml water at 75°C
🍬 1 teaspoon sugar
🥛 125ml milk

I add everything to the milk pitcher and use the espresso machine’s steam wand to create a smooth, creamy matcha latte. It’s a simple technique that produces a beautiful silky texture with minimal effort.

Try this cafe-grade matcha hack at home - no barista needed!

Our RYŌKA Uji matcha is made for creamy lattes.

Using this method I get cafe-quality matcha lattes at home every time.

1. Sift 3g matcha powder directly into the pitcher
2. Add 30ml hot water (75°C / 167°F)
3. Add 1 tsp sugar (optional)
4. Whisk with a matcha whisk to form the matcha base
5. Add 125ml milk
6. Steam all ingredients in the pitcher until pitcher is too hot to hold approx 65°C (149°F)
7. Pour into your bowl or mug
8. Dust lightly with matcha powder
