Repost from posture pro . .
The human body is a puzzling series consisting of many interconnected systems.
As more and more research proves the bridge of each system, it becomes more apparent for the practitioners to dwell deeper into the overall health management system of the human body instead of having to deal with symptoms alone.
TMJ Disorder is an extensive problem because the jaw relates to other muscular systems in the body.
When the jaw becomes unbalanced, the easiest way for the body to compensate for this is by creating muscle imbalances.
When a person's muscles are imbalanced, their entire kinetic chain is affected.
How do you know if your jaw is misaligned?
1. Gently clench your teeth together and slowly slide your lower jaw (mandible) to the RIGHT until both canines are aligned.
2. Make a note of the space on the left side.
3. Gently clench your teeth and slowly slide your lower jaw (mandible) to the LEFT until both canines are aligned.
4. Make a note of the space on the right side.
A difference on one side indicates an imbalance with the Jaw.
If you are looking to fix the problem, it is crucial to understand the cause rather than manage symptoms!
