A few moments from an incredible day at the Greg Santucci International Tour 🤍

We’re still feeling so grateful to have been part of this event as a workshop sponsor and to connect with so many passionate occupational therapists who are committed to helping children thrive.

From meaningful conversations and new connections to sharing our approach and learning from leaders in our profession, it was a day that left us inspired.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared their experiences, and made us feel so welcome. It was wonderful meeting so many of you, and we can’t wait to continue the conversations.

Here’s to growing, learning, and continuing to build a stronger OT community together ✨

A partnership we’re very excited about 🤍

At CFDC, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to support participation beyond the therapy room.

That’s why we’re excited to be partnering with Rafael Santana, founder of Synaflow Adaptive BJJ.

Synaflow is a movement-based program designed for neurodivergent children and adults, using structured movement, predictable routines, and adaptive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to support confidence, body awareness, self-regulation, and connection.

What we love most is Rafael’s neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach and his commitment to creating safe, supportive environments where individuals can learn, move, and thrive.

This partnership will bring new opportunities for our CFDC community, including school holiday programs, group experiences, and individual sessions.

We’re looking forward to sharing more with you very soon 👀

Welcome to the CFDC community Raf 🥋

The peg wasn’t the goal ✨

What looks like a simple play activity is actually providing opportunities to develop multiple foundational skills at once.

As children balance, reach, bend, coordinate, and problem-solve, they’re strengthening:
• Body awareness
• Balance and postural control
• Core strength
• Motor planning
• Bilateral coordination
• Visual-motor integration
• Reflex integration

These foundational skills support participation in everyday activities including play, learning, self-care, sport, and social engagement.

The best part? Our kiddos are having so much fun they don’t realise just how hard their brains and bodies are working 💙

Which skill surprised you most? 👇

Welcome to our space 🤍

A space intentionally designed to support children and young people to feel safe, regulated, connected, and empowered to participate in the things that matter most to them.

At CFDC, we believe therapy should feel meaningful, relationship-led, and grounded in each child’s unique strengths, not just goals on paper.

This space has been built with so much thought, purpose, and heart behind it, and we are so excited to finally share it with you.

Welcome to CFDC ✨

A huge thank you to the incredible team at for bringing our vision to life so beautifully

Our first early learning partnership and just the beginning. 🤍

We’re proud to officially partner with Mini Minds Montessori.

At CFDC, we don’t believe therapy should sit in isolation.
Real impact happens when we support the whole environment around the child.

This means:
• Working alongside educators within the classroom
• Building capacity through educator workshops and training
• Creating connection through parent and community information nights
• And offering group programs that support shared learning and real-world skill development

Because when the people around the child feel confident and supported, outcomes change.

This is what meaningful early intervention looks like. A model that builds understanding, consistency, and long-term impact.

We’re just getting started.

“It’s not just one thing… it’s everything”

Struggles with friendships.
Big emotions.
Getting dressed turns into a battle.
Avoiding brushing teeth.
Difficulty coping when things don’t go to plan.

For many children, these challenges don’t sit in isolation, they’re all connected.

At CFDC, we’re now opening enrolments for our Life Skills Group (Term 2) – a structured OT program designed to support the full picture of everyday independence.

Each 6-week block will focus on a specific life skill theme, while building the broader skills children need to function day-to-day.

We target:
✔️ Social skills (making friends, turn-taking, staying in play)
✔️ Emotional regulation (managing big feelings, coping with change)
✔️ Self-care (dressing, hygiene, feeding)
✔️ Routines and transitions
✔️ Flexibility and problem-solving

Children won’t just talk about these skills, they’ll practise them in real situations, with the support they need to succeed.

Because independence isn’t one skill.
It’s the ability to manage everyday life.

📍 Small, structured groups
đź“… Term 2 enrolments now open (limited spots)

If your child is struggling across multiple areas, this is where we start building real change.

We hear this all the time.

A child who:
• Avoids sitting tasks
• Struggles with attention
• Finds writing harder than it should be
• Melts down after school
• Or just isn’t quite ready for the demands of the classroom

This isn’t about intelligence.
It’s about foundations.

At CFDC, our Foundations for Learning Group is a structured 6-week OT program designed to build the skills that come before academic success:

✔️ Postural control (so sitting isn’t exhausting)
✔️ Motor planning (so tasks feel achievable, not overwhelming)
✔️ Attention + regulation (so they can actually engage)
✔️ Fine motor skills (for writing, cutting, and independence)
✔️ Confidence to participate, not avoid

This is where we bridge the gap between therapy and real life.
Because school doesn’t slow down—but we can prepare them for it.

📍 Small group. Structured. Evidence-based.
📅 Saturdays – limited spots available

If you’ve been told to “wait and see”… this is your sign not to.

👉 Comment FOUNDATIONS or send us a DM and we’ll send you the details.
