Your hips don’t really “store emotions”…
but they do reflect how your body responds to stress

When breathing becomes shallow,
the diaphragm moves less
→ reducing internal support for the spine

The body adapts
and muscles like the psoas
(a hip flexor and spinal stabilizer)
start holding more tension than necessary

Over time, this can feel like “tight hips”
even when stretching isn’t the real missing piece.

Instead of forcing deep breaths,
allow the breath to become more spacious over time.

Props in yoga are often misunderstood.

Not gonna lie… for a long time I also thought they were “just for beginners”.

But the more I practiced (and listened to bodies: mine and others), the more I realised this:

Props are not a shortcut.
They’re support.

They help us move with more awareness, find better alignment and actually feel the pose; instead of fighting it.

Because yoga was never meant to be about forcing yourself into a shape.

It’s about adapting the practice to your body…
on that specific day, in that specific moment.

✨ In my sessions, props are part of the practice, not an afterthought. We use them to support your body, not to push it.
