We are seeking dedicated Support Workers who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people living with disability.
About the Roles
As a Support Worker, you will provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants in their homes and within the community. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, personal care, medication support, community access, and promoting participant independence.
The Southern Adelaide position involves supporting participants with complex health needs, including palliative care. This role requires availability for **passive overnight shifts from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, as well as weekend shifts.
Applicants for the Southern Adelaide role must be comfortable working in a complex care environment and have experience supporting participants with high-care needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Medication administration and medication support
• Meal preparation and household duties
• Community access, appointments, and social activities
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
• Building positive relationships with participants, families, healthcare professionals, and support networks
• Supporting participants in accordance with their individual support plans and goals
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community services, palliative care, or a similar role
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Medication Administration training and demonstrated experience administering medications
- English as a first communication skills with clear, fluent spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, patient, calm, and compassionate approach to care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly Desirable
- Experience supporting participants receiving palliative care
- Experience with complex care and high-support needs
- Experience supporting participants with multiple health conditions
- Understanding of person-centred and trauma-informed care practices
- Experience working independently within participants' homes
Southern Adelaide Position Requirements
- Female applicants only due to participant support requirements
-Availability for passive overnight shifts from **5:00 PM to 8:00 AM**
- Availability to work weekends
- Demonstrated experience supporting participants with complex health needs
- Experience in palliative care is highly desirable
- Confidence administering and managing medications
