Today I went to my best friend’s grandpa’s funeral and hearing his story was such an important reminder:
Life is too short to spend years hating on yourself.
Life is too short to keep waiting for “the perfect time" to come around.
Life is too short to spend another spring hiding in oversized clothes because you never started locking in right now.
One day: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
The next? You can’t even remember what you ate because life got busy and you spent the entire day running off stress, sugar and caffeine.
That is not “disciplined.” That is survival mode.
I really want you to hear this... You do not need to hate yourself into a better body.
👉Cutting carbs
👉Skipping meals
👉Training harder and harder
👉Starting fresh Monday
👉Being “good” all week then blowing out on the weekend because you’re starving, exhausted, and mentally over it.
It feels productive.. but it's actually a pattern you've seen yourself in before.
Those who actually change their bodies long term?
They learn how to take care of themselves DURING busy seasons.
Not just when life is calm.
That’s why I talk about:
🌟walks
🌟sunlight
🌟joy
🌟laughter
🌟connection
🌟regulating your nervous system
🌟being around positive people who lift you up
Movement has honestly carried me through some of the hardest years of my life. Nothing crazy either just walks, Pilates and my strength sessions.
I’m someone who shows up for myself.
I don’t quit after one bad day.
I can trust myself around food.
I move because I love my body.
The goal is:
💫feeling confident getting dressed
💫feeling good in shorts, activewear, bathers, and photos
💫feeling toned, strong, and comfortable in your body
💫being around people who care about growth and health too
Those that change learn to regulate.
They don’t self-destruct each week.
Imagine how different you could feel by Spring if you stopped waiting for later and started now.
