The Gap Laughter Club The Gap Laughter Club in Brisbane is part of the Happydemic sweeping the world. It was established in 2016. June completed her training in 2018.

We create a hub of joy and wellbeing practising laughter yoga in Walton Bridge Reserve, Waterworks Road, The Gap, Brisbane, every Saturday morning. The Gap Laughter Club in Brisbane is a not for profit community-based volunteer-led social group practising Laughter Yoga. The Gap Laughter Club's coordinator is Certified Laughter Yoga Leader June Lennie. Laughter Yoga blends simulated laughter exerc

ises with deep breathing of yoga. It has nothing to do with jokes or comedy -- and everything to do with wellness. It's been scientifically proven that hearty laughter sustained over 20 minutes provides genuine physiological and psychological benefits. Like the saying goes 'laughter is good medicine'. There is no registration and no membership. Just come along! $2 coin for participation: kids are free. The fee for participating is used for insurance and other costs and community givebacks like donations to community pantries.

We held a joyful farewell lunch for Leanne Patricia Langley today. Many thanks to everyone who came along.
Leanne was closely involved in our club since its inception in 2016. She was co-ordinator for several years and did a lot to help promote our club and attract new members.
We will really miss her bubbly personality and her enthusiasm for laughter yoga and life. We all wish her well for her new adventure on the Sunshine Coast!
