Meet the Team - Melissa Lewis (Territory Manager)
Across South-West Victoria, Melissa is a familiar face to many dairy and livestock farmers.
Growing up on a local dairy farm, Melissa started rearing calves while still at high school and has spent her career working within intensive calf rearing systems, continually building her knowledge in calf nutrition and management.
Today, Melissa works closely with farmers to help implement practical, efficient calf rearing and labour-saving mixing systems that make calf rearing more enjoyable while supporting healthier, happier calves from the very beginning.
Whether you catch her at the footy club, racetrack or local cafĆ©, Melissa is always up for a chat and ready to lend a hand. Reliable, knowledgeable and easy to work with, sheā€™s passionate about helping farmers achieve the best outcomes for their calves and their business.

Winter brings more than just cold mornings, it brings real challenges for young calves.
Newborn calves have limited ability to regulate body temperature and can quickly fall into cold stress. When that happens, energy is diverted away from growth and into staying warm, impacting performance, immunity, and overall health.
Research shows calves exposed to cold conditions require more energy just to maintain body temperature, and are at greater risk of disease and reduced growth rates.
Using calf jackets is a simple, effective way to reduce heat loss, support early development, and give your calves the best possible start through winter.
We recommend using calf jackets for at least the first 4 weeks of life, when they need it most.
