We’re excited to announce that Harmony @ Home is launching a brand‑new School Holiday Program designed specifically for High school‑aged children this upcoming school holidays.

Our program includes a mix of fun outings, creative activities, social opportunities, and confidence‑building experiences — all tailored to support children in a safe, inclusive and engaging environment. It’s a great way for kids to stay connected, learn new skills and enjoy their break with supportive staff.

🐾 Sweet Pea Animal Rescue – Round Two! 🐾

As per our participant’s special request, we headed back to Sweet Pea Animal Rescue today for another visit… and it was just as heart‑warming as the first time.

Our crew spent the morning giving pats, cuddles, and plenty of love to the animals who call Sweet Pea home. The smiles, the gentle moments, and the connection with the animals made it a beautiful outing for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to the team at Sweet Pea for welcoming us back and for the incredible work you do for the animals in our community. We appreciate you.

🌟 Lucy’s Thermomix Recommendations – August 🌟

Lucy has been busy in the kitchen this month, creating a whole lineup of delicious and healthy Thermomix dishes. Her August favourites include Red Onion Relish, Salmon with Ginger Sauce & Spiced Cashews, Garlic & Herb Dip, and Rosemary & Parmesan Crackers.
Every recipe was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and another proud step in Lucy’s cooking journey.💜✨

This October, Harmony @ Home will be hosting a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea on Thursday, October 22nd to raise funds for vital breast cancer research.

At Harmony @ Home, we know people who have been touched by this terrible illness, and we want to show our support in a way that truly makes a difference. 💗

Breast cancer affects families, friends, colleagues, and communities — and together, we can help fund life‑saving research, prevention programs, and support services for those facing diagnosis and treatment.

💙 Ready Set Grow spreading kindness in our community! 🫶

Yesterday’s plans for our Ready Set Grow team were cancelled, so they decided to turn the day into something special. The crew got busy in the kitchen and cooked up some delicious treats as a way to say thank you to the lovely local businesses who have welcomed us so warmly during our visits.

It was a great opportunity for the team to practice their cooking skills, work together, and give back to the community that supports them. We’re so proud of their effort, enthusiasm, and the smiles they delivered along the way.

✈️ Humpday Adventurers Explore Fighter World Williamtown!

The Humpday Adventurers headed out last week for an exciting visit to Fighter World in Williamtown ✈️🔥

From the moment the group arrived, they were drawn into the incredible world of aviation — exploring real fighter jets, hands‑on displays, and stories from Australia’s military history. There were plenty of wide‑eyed moments as participants moved through the exhibits, climbed into interactive cockpits, and learned about the skill and precision behind life in the air. 🛩️📚

Midweek outings like this continue to show the value of shared experiences. They spark curiosity, build confidence, and create memories the group carries with them long after the day is done. The team was proud to see each adventurer embracing new opportunities with enthusiasm, connection, and genuine joy. 🌟😊

🕰️Stepping Back in Time at the Great Lakes Museum 🏛️

This week our Ready Set Grow participants had a fun outing to the Great Lakes Museum! Everyone enjoyed checking out the old treasures and photos from years gone by. The favourites of the week were definitely the little jail setup and those freaky dolls that had everyone talking. 🗝️🔒🎎

🍲🥖 We wrapped up the morning with lunch at 12:00pm — chicken and veggie soup, fresh rolls, tea and a slice. Comfort food and good company made it the perfect finish to the visit.

A big thank you to the Great Lakes Museum team for welcoming us and creating such an enjoyable experience for our participants. 💚🌼
