I recently had the amazing opportunity to feature on my very first podcast and talk about the things I'm truly passionate about.

Audit time is always a stressful period, especially when it’s on top of the day-to-day demands of running the business.

I’m pleased to say we got through it successfully, and more importantly, we identified practical ways to ensure we are audit-ready every day of the year—not just when audit time rolls around.

A huge shout-out to my Operations Manager, Emily. Despite battling through a week of illness, she worked tirelessly to help get us audit-ready and absolutely nailed it. Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence did not go unnoticed.

Something Powerful Is Coming for Our Veterans and First Responders 🇦🇺

Andy and Claire Fermo from Invisible Injuries are creating something truly special, and it deserves to be shared far and wide.

There’s something powerful about stepping away from the noise and giving yourself permission to reset.

The RESET Split Retreat is more than just a retreat. It’s a safe and supportive space where veterans and first responders can reconnect with themselves and others who understand, regulate their nervous system, build resilience, and rediscover purpose.

I’m incredibly proud to support initiatives like this that remind people they don’t have to carry the weight alone. My family and I have personally benefited from programs such as these!!

This isn’t just about taking time out.
It’s about rebuilding confidence.
It’s about connection.
It’s about healing.
It’s about finding strength in community and remembering that asking for support is a sign of courage, not weakness.

We are so excited to see our very first Busy Box head out this week!

The Busy Box was created after identifying a challenge for one of our participants living in a SIL home. Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists had recommended a range of activities to support communication, engagement, and fine and gross motor skill development during 1:1 support sessions — but the missing piece was who would source the activities, put them together, and create some structure around the supports.

That’s where the Busy Box was born

The box includes a range of tailored TeachTas-style activities designed around the participant’s goals and interests. Every few weeks we’ll update the activities to keep things engaging, while also helping us better understand the participant’s current skill level, preferences, and support needs.

An added benefit is that support workers can use the Busy Box to record observations such as levels of prompting required and participant engagement, helping track progress towards communication and motor skill goals over time.

We can’t wait to continue building and improving the Busy Box concept!
