Ever noticed your toes curling when you walk in thongs or slides? 👣

If your footwear feels loose or moves around too much, you may be gripping with your toes without even realising it.

The problem isn’t that your toes move. It’s having them repeatedly work just to keep your footwear attached.

Try this: take 20 normal steps in your usual thongs or slides and pay attention. Are your toes curling? Is your foot sliding around? Are you changing your stride to keep them on?

Open footwear should move comfortably with your feet — with a secure, comfortable fit and support underneath.

Save this and try the 20-step test yourself.

Thongs or slides — which team are you? 👣☀️

Some people love the open, lightweight feel of a classic toe-post thong. Others would choose the easy slip-on feel of a slide every time.

The good news? You don’t have to choose between open footwear and support.
Both Archline Rebound styles feature our substantial, contoured Rebound EVA footbed with arch support, a deep heel cup and supportive cushioning underneath.

Different on top. Same supportive idea underneath.
And even better — Rebound Orthotic Thongs & Slides are both back in stock.

So, Team Thongs or Team Slides? 👇

Your mind might be on holiday… but your feet definitely aren’t. 👣✈️

Holidays often mean more walking, more standing and more time exploring than we’re used to at home. At the same time, we often change what we wear on our feet.

That combination can leave your feet feeling pretty tired by the end of the day.

A little planning can help. Build up your walking before you leave, pack a few footwear options, match your footwear to the day ahead, and give your feet a chance to rest when they need it.

After all, you don’t want tired feet cutting a great day short.

Save this before your next trip — and follow Archline for more practical foot & footwear insights.

Your feet at 8am aren’t quite the same as your feet at 5pm. 👣

Throughout the day, standing, walking, warmer temperatures and normal fluid movement can leave your feet feeling fuller, warmer or simply more fatigued than they did that morning.

That’s why looking after your feet shouldn’t only happen once they start feeling tired.

Move them. Rest them. Keep them comfortable. Pay attention to how they’re feeling — and give them the support they need for different parts of your day.

Supportive shoes and orthotics while you’re active, then something more open or relaxed like supportive thongs, slides or slippers when you get home.

Your feet change throughout the day. Look after them accordingly.

Barefoot at home? You’re definitely not alone. 🏠👣

There’s nothing inherently wrong with going barefoot — but it’s worth thinking about what you’re actually standing on.

Tiles, timber and other hard household floors offer very little cushioning, and all those little trips between the kitchen, laundry and living room can add up.

If your feet start feeling tired after spending hours around the house, supportive indoor footwear — whether that’s slides, thongs or slippers — can give you some extra cushioning and support underfoot.

Swipe through to see why your indoor footwear deserves a little more thought.

Spring’s here 🌿 and after months of enclosed shoes, your feet may be in for a change.

Warmer weather often means more walking, more time in slides, thongs and sandals, and footwear you might not have worn since last summer.

Before making the switch, give your summer footwear a quick check. Look for worn soles, compressed cushioning and loss of shape or structure — and remember, open footwear can still provide support underfoot.

A little preparation now can help keep your feet comfortable as the days get warmer.

Save these tips for your spring footwear changeover.
