Before there is an I, there is a We.

And this is where Relational Proprioception™ begins.

We do not arrive as separate, fully formed selves.
We arrive through relationship.
Through the mother-body, and through everything the mother-body is living inside: her relationships, her stress, her safety or lack of safety, her grief, support, isolation, belonging, family system, culture, history, ancestry, and the social and environmental field around her.

The baby in utero is not forming in isolation.
The baby is forming inside a relational field.
Inside the mother’s body, and inside the world that is holding or not holding her.

Before we can speak, remember or understand, the body is already asking:
Is there room for me here?
Am I welcomed?
Is it safe enough for me to form?
Can I rest?
Can I reach?
Can I exist and still belong?
These are biological questions.
Relational questions.
Field questions.

And the answers become part of how we later locate ourselves in the world.
How we feel our bodies.
How we sense our emotions.
How we reach.
How we protect.
How we merge.
How we disappear.
How we fight for space.
How we long to belong.

Relational Proprioception™ is the body’s capacity to locate itself in relationship.
To sense:
I am here.
You are there.
We are in contact.
I can feel myself while I feel you.
I can be moved by you without losing myself.
I can belong without disappearing.
I can differentiate without disconnecting.
I can say no and still stay in relationship.

This is the biology of I, You and We.

And when early relational fields have been overwhelming, absent, intrusive, frightening, silenced, unsupported or unresolved, the body adapts.
Sometimes the wound is attachment-based.
Sometimes developmental.
Sometimes pre and perinatal.
Sometimes ancestral.
Sometimes collective.
Sometimes it belongs to the wider family, cultural or systemic field.
Sometimes we do not know.
So we do not assume.
We inquire.
We listen.
We track the body.
We stay with what has resonance.
And when there is no knowing, we stay with what is here now:
The breath.
The posture.
The reaching.
The turning away.
The collapse.
The protest.
The longing.
The field between us.

Because so often, the wound was relational.
And relational wounds need relational repair.
This is true in the therapy room.
And it is also true in groups, organisations, training rooms, families, cultures and systems.

Groups become microcosms of the wider world. What is unfinished appears in the field: power, belonging, exclusion, silence, shame, difference, hierarchy, voice, history, rupture and repair.

This is where Relational Proprioception™ becomes collective and systemic.

Systemic healing cannot be done from the outside looking in. It cannot be imposed as a model, delivered as an intervention, or spoken about only as an idea.
It has to be practised in partnership, in collaboration, and in relationship.
We feel.
We connect.
We negotiate.
We repair.
And then we make meaning.

The Relational Proprioception Practitioner Training — RPPT — is beginning to take form.

It will begin with an initial masterclass introducing the framework, the clinical lens, the practitioner stance, and the movement from individual healing into relational, collective and systemic repair.

From there, the masterclass will open into a 12-month practitioner training for those who feel called to go deeper.
More information will be shared soon.
Stay tuned.

Most people think self-development is about fixing yourself alone.

But your nervous system is shaped through relationships.

The way you handle stress.
Conflict.
Connection.
Trust.
Boundaries.
Safety.

The GROW Program helps people understand why they react the way they do under pressure, and how to shift those patterns in real time.

This is practical relational work for individuals, leaders, and teams who want healthier communication, stronger emotional regulation, and deeper connection.

Because burnout, shutdown, people-pleasing, reactivity, and disconnection don’t just affect one person.
They affect every room they walk into.

Day 2 of 4 with Maggie Kline is underway ❤️

A commitment to healing is also a commitment to slowing down enough to truly see what sits underneath behaviour, emotion, and survival responses.

This room is filled with practitioners doing that work in real time.

Art. Movement. Attachment. Somatic Experiencing®.
Not just learning concepts, but experiencing them through the body.

Four days that leave a lasting imprint on how we support children, families, and ourselves.

Who would want to see Maggie return down under!?

Working with children requires a different approach.

Not everything is spoken. Not everything is direct.

Part of the GROW program, this training focuses on how children process, express, and move through experience, often through play, behaviour, and relationships.

This is a space to deepen how you understand and respond to the young people in your care.
