🚨 STATION CLOSED: Serious Incident Halts Mandurah Line at Rockingham

A major emergency response is currently unfolding at Rockingham Train Station, with heavy police and ambulance crews securing the area.

THE SITUATION ON THE GROUND 👮
At approximately 12:30 PM, a serious incident occurred on the tracks. WA Police and St John Ambulance are currently on the scene. Authorities have initiated a full lockdown of the facility, with all roller doors completely shut and public access to the inside of the station entirely cut off.

Locals contacting the Baldivis Times have described a heavy emergency presence. "There’s been a serious accident involving the trains, no one is allowed to access the inside of the station at all," one witness stated. Another commuter noted that passengers were actively being redirected away from the area to find alternative transport.

COMMUTER IMPACT 💥

- Trains Cancelled: Services on the Mandurah Line are currently halted between Cockburn Central and Mandurah Stations.

- Replacement Buses: Transperth has deployed replacement buses running between Cockburn Central and Mandurah.

- Expect Delays: Commuters are heavily urged to allow for significant extra travel time this afternoon, as replacement buses may not connect seamlessly with regular timetabled services.
