Tuggerah Medicare Mental Health Centre provides support for individuals 16 years and over experiencing distress or mental health challenges.

You do not need an existing diagnosis, referral, mental health treatment plan, or a Medicare card to access the centre.

Open 7 days, the service can be accessed at the following location:

The Tuggerah Medicare Mental Health Centre has officially opened, following an announcement by the Hon Assistant Minister Emma McBride MP in partnership with Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) and Grand Pacific Health.

Health Revolution was born in 2020, at the height of the COVID 19 pandemic, out of our own frustration as both practitioners and patients navigating a healthcare system that too often feels fragmented and impersonal. We'd each seen first hand how easy it is for people to fall through the cracks — passed between providers, given generic advice, or left without anyone truly listening. So we built something different: a clinic where physiotherapy and psychology work side by side, where connection comes before treatment plans, and where every person who walks through our door is seen as a whole person, not a diagnosis. Six years on, that founding belief still drives everything we do — we're not just treating injuries or symptoms, we're helping Central Coast locals rebuild trust in their own bodies and minds.

Confession: I am famously bad at metaphors. In session, your energy levels might get called a phone battery, a bucket, a cup, and an engine — sometimes all in the same sentence. My clients have started keeping score. 😅

But underneath the metaphor chaos is something I actually care a lot about: therapy that isn't one-size-fits-all.

A lot of the people I work with are juggling more than one thing at once — chronic pain or health conditions, ADHD, autism, complex trauma, and a very real exhaustion with systems that haven't made getting support easy. Capacity on any given day can look completely different, for reasons that have nothing to do with effort or motivation.

So instead of the same script every week, I try to meet people where they're actually at — some days that's skills-building, some days that's just being heard, and both are valid uses of our time.

Honestly, a lot of my clients are basically carrying an overflowing bucket that's also somehow empty, running on fumes, powered by a 1.5 litre engine trying to do a V8's job. Doesn't make sense as a metaphor. Makes complete sense as a description of burnout. 🚗💨

Our Central Coast Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic is officially open.

The new clinic, located within the Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre, will deliver dedicated endometriosis and pelvic pain care for women and girls from a multidisciplinary team.

The clinic will also expand support for perimenopause and menopause, helping women better manage symptoms and access to appropriate care.
