Brain Injury Awareness Week is a time to learn more about brain injury, recognise the diverse experiences of people living with it, and highlight the importance of ongoing rehabilitation and support.
Brain injury can occur for many reasons, including stroke, falls, road trauma, sporting injuries, infections and other medical conditions. The effects can vary from person to person and may impact movement, thinking, communication, memory, fatigue and many other aspects of daily life.
Recovery looks different for everyone. While every journey is unique, the right support, rehabilitation and opportunities to stay active can help people continue working towards meaningful goals and participating in the activities that matter most to them.
This week, The Neuro Collective is proud to support Synapse Australia's Brain Injury Awareness Week campaign, helping raise awareness and foster greater understanding of brain injury and its impact.
