After more than seven years supporting people with diabetes in Wellington, Alison has passed the baton of care to Erin 💙

Alison's final visit to Swift Street Medical Centre was marked with a special celebration from the practice team (pictured with Alison), a reflection of just how valued she has become over the years.

Through her dedication, expertise and genuine care for the community, Alison has been a trusted source of support for both clients and staff, supporting countless people to build the knowledge and confidence in managing their diabetes so they can live well.

While Alison will be greatly missed, we're proud to continue providing the diabetes education services rural communities need, with Erin, Dietitian and Credentialled Diabetes Educator, stepping in to continue providing support.

Thank you, Alison, for the lasting impact you've made in Wellington and beyond! 👏💙

Dr Bradley has been a Dr in Dubbo for over 13 years and was born and bred in rural NSW. She has a special interest in Womens and Children’s Health, Pregnancy Choices, Menopause, Implanon, Mirena and IUD insertions. When Dr Bradley is not working she is spending time with her family, raising 4 beautiful boys, hockey 🏑 , camping 🏕️ or on the farm 🚜.

🦠 6 months - 5 years of age
🦠 Pregnant
🦠 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander over 6 months of age
🦠 or have a Medical condition that puts you at high risk

….. Then you are eligible for the free influenza 2026 vaccine 💉

If you do not meet this criteria please speak to your GP about a private script for the vaccine and private billing fees will apply.

Please note 📝 appointments for flu vaccines will be booked in to either a Dr or nurse and will be bulk billed (no cost) provided that the consult with the Dr is about the flu vaccine. If other medical issues are discussed with the Dr during this time it would be considered a consultation and charges will apply.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common virus that can cause a range of severe respiratory illnesses such as bronchitis and pneumonia. Infections are most common in the colder months 🥶.

Symptoms of RSV disease include:

🦠 runny nose 🤧
🦠 fever 🤒
🦠 coughing wheezing or difficulty breathing 😮‍💨
🦠 earache or sinus pain 😩

People aged 75 years and over and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people over 60 years and older are eligible for the FREE RSV vaccine 💉 through the National Immunisation Program.
