Most women I see in clinic are focused on their hormones, taking supplements to lower their androgens to manage symptoms. And I will admit, that also used to be me.

While lowering androgens is an important part of improving PCOS, we always have to consider why our hormones are responding this way.

Instead of simply chasing symptom management, we can take a deeper approach. You might be surprised to find a lot of it starts in the gut.

The gut is what I consider the foundations to our health. If the gut’s not happy, it impacts everything from your metabolic health, inflammation, hormones, thyroid, brain fog, energy levels and much more.

Swipe through to understand how the gut impacts metabolic health & PCOS 🤍

If you would like to dig deeper, send me a DM and let’s chat about whether a gut test would be a good option for you ✨

If you want my free PCOS testing guide for the complete list, send me a DM 🤍

When I was first diagnosed with PCOS, they ran a basic hormone panel and an ultrasound.
No guidance on timing. No real explanation.

My ultrasound showed PCOS… but my blood work didn’t.

For a long time, I had no clarity on what I was actually dealing with or how to fix it.
I was frustrated, dismissed, given the pill, and told to come back when I wanted to get pregnant.

But I’ve never been someone who settles for “this is just how it is.”

That experience took me on a deep healing journey to understand what was really going on in my body. Along the way, I completed my degree, became a naturopath, and now support women going through the same thing.

When I say I’ve been there, I mean it.

This is why I’m so big on testing and getting to the root cause. Because PCOS isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it can be improved and even reversed, when you understand your body properly. I’m living proof.

The power is in your hands.
But I won’t lie, it’s not always easy.

Healing isn’t linear.
But it is always worth it 🤍

If you’ve been quietly dealing with this… this one’s for you 🤍

Nobody talks about this part of PCOS. But so many of us are living it and it’s frustrating to say the least.

I want you to know, it’s not something to be ashamed of. It’s your body giving you a signal that something deeper needs support. And that’s actually a good thing because signals can be answered when we stop to listen.

For many of my clients, they feel like this is something they have to manage forever with daily tweezers and razors, hoping nobody notices.

But when you start to understand why… things will start to change. Not overnight, but overtime.

That’s what this post is about. Not a quick fix, but a real one where we address the why, not just the symptom.

If you don’t know where to start, comment or DM me PCOS and I’ll send you my free testing guide so you know what tests to ask for, what might be your underlying cause and this will give you answers on where you need to focus. No more guessing, you deserve to know why. 🤍
